Adding a new item to OnetoTen should be quick and painless. But for those who need a little help, here's a quick tutorial.

First, it is reccomended that you Register with OnetoTen.org. It's free, easy, and your email address is safe from spam. This will allow you to post items and ratings without waiting for approval from a moderator (unless your future actions prove otherwise), as well as the ability to search the website, and track your rating history.

Click on the "Submit New Item" on the left menu, or any "Add Item" link throughout the site. 

Now, select a Section, which is a very general classification for the item. After that, a more specific category must be selected. The Directory on the right hand of the page should help guide you to the proper placement. If you can't find the right place, there's always "Things -> Misc"

 Now, enter the title of your item, and a detailed description. I wouldn't dare suggest you copy and paste something from another wiki, or pedia..  but the source of your information is your business. Please keep it limited to a paragraph or so..  

Now, upload an image to represent your item. Google images is a good place to start for that, but make sure the image isn't huge (300k, like the form says). The blue box below is your place to give the first rating to your new item.
